Bank of Hawaii Corporation (the "Parent") is a Delaware corporation and a bank
holding company ("BHC") headquartered in Honolulu, Hawaii.
The Parent's principal and only operating subsidiary, Bank of Hawaii (the
"Bank"), was organized on December 17, 1897 and is chartered by the State of
Hawaii. The Bank's deposits are insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance
Corporation (the "FDIC") and the Bank is a member of the Federal Reserve System
(the "FRB").
The Bank provides a broad range of financial services and products primarily to
customers in Hawaii and the Pacific Islands (Guam, nearby islands, and American
Samoa). References to "we," "our," "us," or "the Company" refer to the holding
company and its subsidiaries that are consolidated for financial reporting
purposes.
